Empowerment - setting own energetic boundaries

Empowerment - setting own energetic boundaries

Every life-form in our universe has a Sacred Space, which includes the physical matter of its make-up, the spirit or consciousness connected to it, and the viewpoint it represents. Human Beings have a Sacred Space that also includes personal thoughts, emotions, possessions and experiential viewpoint on life.

Empowering one's own space...you may be pondering what it actually means...? “To empower one’s space”… Well, I’m referring here to "giving power to"/ "taking control of" one’s closest environment, physical body, and the immediate space surrounding it. Empowering my own space, taking power back into my own hands, reclaiming that which I had been unconsciously given away, was one of the very first and fundamental steps taken my own journey within.

Allow me to offer you an analogy. Think of yourself as a beautiful garden, with an incredible variety of different flowers in it: roses, lilies, violets, carnations, self-sow wildflowers and of course infamous weeds (we all have them ;-)). When there’s balance in the garden, it flourishes beautifully. However, once weeds begin to take over, it all changes. Think of weeds as projections coming towards you from the outside world. And sure they come! They may be in the form of words or actions coming from others, as well as silent thoughts penetrating our fields/closest environment. Sometimes it can be quite a challenge to notice whether what’s happening within, to, or around us, truly belongs to us, particularly when you're highly sensitive/empathic.

Quite frequently, we simply don't know where we begin and end as an individual. Our sense of boundaries is distorted. We can get so enmeshed with others, especially the ones closest to us that it's hard to recognize whether certain feelings, attitudes are our own or someone else's.  Unknowingly, you may find yourself being pulled in sorts of different directions. You may even intuit that "it's not me" type of behavior or attitude, you’re exhibiting. There are people around you, who knowingly or not, will attempt to project onto you that which is theirs. Actually, this means everything outside of YOU, will be able to influence you, from your family members, to partners, to media, etc. Imagine if you live in a metropolitan city, you can come in contact with a lot of individuals...It begs a question: "

To what extent can you be influenced when swimming in an energetic sea with millions of other people...?

Some of those influences may be roses but many are thorns and weeds, which might not be serving you at all.

What do you ultimately allow into your garden? Have you weeded it out lately???

Your inner world is constantly influenced by the outside world. Others point of views may become your own, others moods and feelings will have an impact on yours.  Unless, your space is healthy, cleared away from all obstructions, you will be swayed/pulled in all directions. In other words, you'll be like a proverbial puppet on a string being pulled by others. The question becomes:

"Who is the real you amidst the beautiful roses, self-sow wildflowers and growth hampering weeds"?

I invite you to embark on a journey inward to discover the real you…Can’t imagine it being nothing less than most illuminating path you’ll ever take on….. :-)
