Recognition of true nature of human beings…
During one of many contemplative moments, I remember clearly sending a prayer, or it was more like a desperate calling to the Universe/God/Force/Field/Intelligence (fill in the blanks, whatever your own description is):
How can I see the light in others/ how can I see them on a soul level instead of as just human mortals? I wanna seem them!!!!!!
In words of Gary Zukav: " No question is unheard, and no question goes unanswered." Sure an answer came, the moment it was posed. It was unbelievable! Felt a bit like I got hit with a cosmic two-by-four.… my human mind generated a response: “duuuuuuh, of course” So here is the big eureka moment I experienced:
“To see the light in others, you need to be able to see it in your SELF first.”
This truth resonated so so very deeply. Simple, yet very profound. It was just yet another piece, amongst many, which was pointing me towards “journeying within”. I was being called to embark on Joseph Campbell's "Hero's journey", a "call to adventure", if you will.
So yea, when we look at others, we see them only as mortal humans, we tend to judge based on earthly traits they possess. We perceive them as a different race, with a different social standing- we judge by differences, not similarities- since they seem most obvious. However, once we turn inward and commit to own healing, the perception of the world and its inhabitants shifts. Once own beauty is recognized, only then we are able to recognize it in others.
Ever since 'the aha moment', the desire to uncover, reconnect with my own eternal essence and different multifaceted parts of my SELF grew exponentially. As Gary Zukav mentioned in "Seat of the Soul" : "The journey toward individual soulhood" began.... My own journey inward began, because I dared to answer the call....
Have you answered yours? Do you KNOW what it is...?
