Balancing the Energy - neutral perspective

Balancing the Energy - neutral perspective

That night I was shown that all energy in the Universe in neutral.

“Several years ago I saw exactly how energy will manifest the content of the thoughts and feelings it encounters. I was praying with several women in a sweat lodge ceremony at tribal gathering in the Pacific Northwest. One of the women was grieving the death of her sister. She wailed and released her grief, crying and mourning her loss. In total darkness, the woman next to me began fidgeting and fanning the air around her in order not to take on “the negative” energy that she felt was flying around the lodge. I saw this woman’s fear balloon around her like a luminous cloud, and it actually magnetized other energy to it. The cloud of fear was so thick that it was becoming nearly impossible to breathe inside the lodge. Prior to this woman’s fear rising, the grieving woman’s tears and wails were running like a river into the earth below the hot stones at the center of the lodge, being returned to the earth Mother. The direction of the grief energy changed when it encountered the fear of the woman beside me, and it began to direct itself to the luminous cloud surrounding the frightened woman… That night I was shown that all energy in the universe in neutral. We are the human conductors that direct energy through our thoughts. If we use words to label emotion, or energy-in-motion, the energy begins to transform, becoming the embodiment of our judgments. If we think and direct our opinions toward anything we feel energetically, the form of the energy will change into the thought that was sent. Our thoughts, opinions, and judgments direct energy, which responds by manifesting the exact changes that our thoughts contain.”

Thought these two paragraphs from "Dancing The Dream" by Jamie Sams were perfect for this post....

Remember working with a shaman who first introduced me to the concept of neutrality. It certainly made logical sense at the time. But it’s one thing to understand it intellectually, yet another to embody it in daily living. Before getting to that sweet neutral place and residing there most of the time, much healing needed to be done. A lot of taking power back, a lot of emotional release, contemplation, and meditation. Had I only discovered this powerful nugget of wisdom before - “energy in the universe is neutral”; it sure could have saved me lots of trouble in the past. All those emotionally charged knee-jerk reactions in an attempt to defend stubborn positions, arguments, and quarrels driven by ego. Shifting from one end of the spectrum all the way to the other. What a contrast to learn from... So no regrets here!  But it sometimes felt as if I were on a boat, while stormy and raging ocean comprised of my human emotions were bouncing my body from one side of the ship to the other…

It is so easy to get pulled into the drama of the world and get polarized in the process. Good/bad, black/white, negative/positive, all that duality we are swimming in. To hold a neutral, unbiased perspective, free from mental judgments is a heck of a feat to undertake. Certainly poses a challenge but it surely can be done! The task at hand becomes to refrain from taking on a judgmental stance when faced with outside reality, other people's points of view, and worldly events. To get sucked into the duality vortex is the fastest way to lose energy from one’s energy bank. Ultimately, it begs some questions:

At what cost and is it worth it?

It’s a priceless skill to have, one that must be honed and diligently practiced every day. It was one of the most surprising and rewarding aspects of the journey inward-getting to an energetic place and holding neutral perspective most of the time. “Nice and steady Anna” as one mentor once told me. An energetic state of neutrality is carried over to every aspect of one’s life. Life is no longer the same. Balance returns. And Amen to that! Most importantly, according to esoteric teachings, those who are able to hold a neutral perspective can become great healers, visionaries, seers, and psychics. It’s really important not to polarize our thinking. So be an onlooker as the events unfold, go within and find the center point within yourself. You won’t regret it!

 With a loving heart, Anna
